An Average Client Profit Growth of 87% and 98% Client Retention Tells Why CANOPY is a Force Behind Some of Amazon’s Most Successful Brands!

Three years ago, Forbes magazine wrote an article about Austin, Texas titled, “Is Austin, Texas the Best City in America?” Since that time it’s been awarded the designation of “the number one place to live in America,”the fastest growing large city,” as well as the “best state for female entrepreneurs.”

Recently it has become known for something else altogether and it’s causing the entire state of California to begin to consider what it might be like to take a back seat to the Texas town’s ability to attract tech companies.

While Silicon Valley’s Northern Californian location offers a mild climate, incredible educational opportunities, and almost unlimited job prospects, recently, the tide has turned. After comfortably occupying a front row seat for the tech industry’s decade-long evolution, high housing costs paired with California’s infamous high taxes started to tip the balance away from Silicon Valley.

Finally, it was the pandemic and the rise of “remote” workers that opened the floodgates.

Why Austin Texas?

Austin, Texas is home to secondary offices for many prominent companies. Apple, Google, Dell, eBay, Meta (Facebook), IBM, Indeed, Oracle, Silicon Laboratories, Whole Foods, and Yeti have all moved a significant part of their operations to the growing Texas town.

Texas offers a number of tax advantages to corporations, many of them particularly favorable to tech companies. Yes, there’s no state income tax, but it goes much further than that. When you stop to consider the lack of sales tax on research and development-related work, on data centers, or on tax for the labor to construct new facilities, it’s like a welcome mat for entrepreneurs.

When Tesla announced last fall that it was moving its corporate headquarters from California to Texas, accompanying Oracle and HP Enterprise, there was one (very) fast-growing company already based there in Austin, waiting for them . . .

CANOPY Management

CANOPY Management – Big Success in the Southwest

Last year, CANOPY Management, the leading full-service agency for Amazon Sellers, made a lasting impression in the Southwest region when Inc. magazine awarded CANOPY Management with a spot on its third annual Inc. 5000 Regionals Southwest list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies based in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

With a 2 year growth rate of 929% (and 3 year growth rate of 1755%), CANOPY rocketed up the chart to land at number 13.

Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the Southwest region’s most dynamic economic segment–its independent small businesses.

CANOPY is #325 on Inc’s 2022 Top 500

Then, less than a month ago, CANOPY was recognized on the Inc. 5000 annual list, the most prestigious ranking of America’s fastest-growing private companies. CANOPY’s rapid growth was such that it also made Inc. 5000’s much more exclusive annual top 500 list, coming in at number 325.

Brian Burt, CANOPY Management’s Founder and CEO had this to say:[/vc_column_text][ut_parallax_quote quote_linebreak_mobile=”on” quote_ins_font_weight=”” cite_font_weight=”” quote_color=”#24ce1b”]At Canopy, we’re a performance based firm, and because we’ve aligned our growth with Client growth – being named to the Inc. 500 is not only a massive achievement for the Canopy Tribe, but also a huge win for each and every client under the Canopy!
