Peter Oates

Peter has a corporate career spanning 25 years where the majority of his positions have been in client facing and service delivery roles. Starting off in the late 90’s in telecoms as part of a Project Management team he helped support the delivery of European wide telecoms and data network roll outs for large multinationals.

Following a move to Dublin in 2001 he transferred his skills to account management within the logistics sector and took up a role with Federal Express looking after clients with complex corporate shipping requirements. He moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2007 where he made another career change into the Junior Resource sector where he took up the key position of Investor Relations Manager in a number of Gold and Copper exploration companies.

This position, as part of the senior management team, saw him responsible for the delivery of marketing, communications and PR programs and also was involved in the raising of capital through institutional and retail investor capital raises. Following a move back to Ireland in late 2023 he has chosen to take up a new challenge in the Amazon Ads sector.
