Austin, Texas – September 17, 2024 – Canopy Management, the leading full-service agency for Amazon and Walmart Sellers – recognized by Inc. Magazine as the fastest growing digital marketing agency in the United States – today announced a pivotal promotion.

Cory Chin, who previously served as Senior Data Analyst, has been promoted to the position of Director of Sales and Business Intelligence.

The promotion draws attention to Canopy Management’s continued growth, and reflects Chin’s unrivaled understanding of the e-commerce sales process, his sophisticated marketplace intelligence, and his ability to uncover the data points that truly matter.

“I enjoy analytics because it allows me to uncover meaningful insights from data and make informed decisions,” said Chin. “I love the process of taking complex information, breaking it down, and identifying trends or patterns that can lead to actionable strategies.”

Cory Chin Has Managed E-Commerce for Some of the Biggest Brands in North America

After college Chin managed operations for an automotive company that made custom transmission parts for race cars.

Then, demonstrating the entrepreneurial spirit shown by successful e-commerce pros, he decided to launch his own brand in the beverage industry.

That in turn led him to discover Canopy.

Chin began at Canopy over three years ago, starting as an Advertising Specialist in Nov 2020.

He then left for an opportunity to oversee Amazon & Walmart e-commerce for Philips North America for some of their largest brands such as Sonicare, Norelco, Avent, and Female Beauty. While there he was responsible for over $50MM in ad spend.

After returning to Canopy as Senior Data Analyst, his principal objective was to help brands pinpoint opportunities for growth within their category.

Over the last several years, the growth of e-commerce has been nothing short of phenomenal. This rapid expansion has focused attention on two critically important puzzle pieces for an Amazon and Walmart marketing agency such as Canopy Management.

Having the right people in pivotal positions has never been more important. At the same time, advances in technology and artificial intelligence reward next-level analytical capabilities. Cory Chin checks both of those boxes.

Chin had this to say about his new role:

“I am excited to take on the role of Director of Sales and Business Intelligence at Canopy Management. My focus is to continue supporting our partners with data-driven strategies to accelerate growth and optimize performance across platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, TikTok, and Chewy.”

The Canopy Sales Department Has Seen Massive Growth Under Chin

Recently, and for the third year in a row, Inc. Magazine ranked Canopy Management on the 2024 Inc. 5000, its annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

“Cory has been an absolute asset from the day he joined Canopy. His intelligence and influence has helped – not just Canopy – but our Clients succeed at the highest level we’ve seen to date . . . and it’s only up from here!”

– Brian Burt, Founder and CEO at Canopy Management
